Venom: Let There Be Carnage First Trailer Is ‘Yummy!’

He’s missed you all and today Sony Pictures Releasing finally reunite us! Behold, Venom: Let There Be Carnage , aka Venom 2  and the first UK Trailer has been revealed and it’s ‘Yummy!’

2 years after it was announced, we take several big steps closer to the long awaited sequel coming to cinema screens near you. Of course this time next week we’ll be able to return to the cinema in a long long time!

Tom Hardy returns as our antihero Eddie Brock who bonds with the Alien Symbiote. In the sequel he won’t be the only symbiote who’ll be in the film, say hello to Carnage! Woody Harrelson is Cletus Kassady who bonds with Carnage and the supervillain of the film. Both characters established in Spider-Man‘s world (as well as fan favourites) with Venom who is sometimes the villain in the comic book world other times the anti-hero we love.

The original film was a mixed bag with cinephiles loving the film better than critics. Ruben Fleischer directed that film, this time goes to Andy Serkis and this potentially looks a big improvement. Very little is known about the actual plot, we get clues that Cletus knows Eddie. Our hunch that is Carnage rather than Cletus talking. The trailer suggests this time this will be like a ‘buddy style’ film and plays their relationship. As for the rest, it looks like it will be insane!

Tom Hardy returns to the big screen as the lethal protector Venom, one of MARVEL’s greatest and most complex characters.

Directed by Andy Serkis, the film also stars Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris and Woody Harrelson, in the role of the villain Cletus Kasady/Carnage.

The film also stars Michelle Williams, Naomie Harris, Reid Scott, Stephen Graham,

Venom: Let There Be Carnage will arrive in UK and Irish Cinemas from 15th September.
