This is the film version of BBC mockumentary, People Just Do Nothing. Based on Brentford’s finest collective Kurupt FM looking for their lucky break in music. That break might be on the cards when they learn one of their songs is use on a popular game show…in Japan!

I’m going to just say it, I watched several episodes of the show I didn’t laugh at all. The award winning series lasted 5 seasons with the final season ending in 2018. I admit I may not be the targeted audience, and it’s won BAFTA’s which prove it does have a fanbase. The burning question will be how successful will it be at the box office?

The much anticipated big screen outing of the Kurupt FM crew, from the two-time BAFTA winning BBC comedy series People Just Do Nothing, will arrive in cinemas across the UK and Ireland on 18th August.

It’s finally time for them to enjoy the fame and fortune that they’ve always known they deserved.
