Jean Dujardin Has A ‘Killer Jacket’ In Deerskin UK Trailer

When Quentin Dupieux is directing you know the film your about to watch is no ordinary film, it’s going to be completely bonkers! This summer will be ‘killer style’ when his latest weird slice of Cinerama Deerskin is released in UK cinemas.

Today Picturehouse Entertainment have released the film’s Official UK Trailer  and Poster. Jean Dujardin loves his jacket, it is the finest in the world but to you it’s deadly!

Oscar winner Dujardin plays Georges he has a Deerskin jacket and he adores it. Maybe  a bit too much, that now he’s turned to a life of crime to a point it’s ‘killer’.

Dupiuex‘s film’s will have you laughing, maybe at it’s weirdness or just simply it’s stupid most of all funny. His films have been like marmite love them or hate them. On the evidence of those early reviews this might be the best of the bunch.

Georges (Academy Award winner Jean Dujardin), is a man who has one ambition – to possess the finest jacket in the world at the expense of all others. With the relationship with his wife in tatters, Georges retreats to a remote town where he purchases the deerskin jacket of his dreams. Along with the stylish jacket he has just acquired, he also gets hold of an old video camera. This ignites a new interest as he moves from couture to auteur. Aided by aspiring editor Denise (César winner Adèle Haenel), he sets out to create his masterwork. However, his ever closer relationship with his deerskin jacket starts to take him down a darker path that he continues to document on his camera and which Denise continues to sew together into a film. Laugh out loud funny and gloriously unexpected, the odyssey on which Georges has embarked leaves him guilty of many things, not least an excess of killer style…

The film also stars Adèle Haenel, Albert Delpy, Coralie Russier, Laurent Nicolas, and Pierre Gommé.

Picturehouse Entertainment is set to release Deerskin in the UK and Ireland from 16th July.
