New enemy, new war as Signature Entertainment release the UK Trailer for Australian sci-fi Alien invasion thriller Occupation: Rainfall.

Directed by Luke Sparke who also directed the original, Occupation which was released in 2018 and Australia’s biggest sci-fi to date. This one see’s several of the cast (those who survived)  returning including Temeura Morrison. This time he has help from Hollywood in the shape of Ken Jeong (The Hangover) and a big hello to Jason Issacs (Harry Potter). One of the returning cast is Dan Ewing who some will know him from Home And Away or more recently Netflix  film Love And Monsters.

This film is set two years after the original film, the intergalactic invasion is now two years old. The casualties of war are mounting  survivors  heading to Sydney  for one last battle that will save or destroy mankind.

Describing itself as Avatar meets Star Wars meets Independence Day. A big reputation to live up to , even if it has a slice of the aforementioned films Ill be happy. It may not be the perfect film, it does tease a cheesy, dumb escapism which we need these days…
