“Good Boy/Girl” Sit And Watch UK Trailer For Stray

They have been our companions for centuries, we look after them, sometimes they look after us. Dogs are not just mans best friend, there everyone’s best friend. Sadly we sometimes betray them and in Elizabeth Lo’s fascinating documentary film Stray we get slice of that story. Check out the UK Trailer below!

See the world through the eyes and ears of three canine friends. An intimate portrait of the life of a city and its people, this film is the ultimate love letter to dogs, as we follow three stray dogs in the bustling city of Istanbul in Turkey.

This film has delighted cinephiles worldwide at various international film festivals that went virtual late last year. We caught the film at BFI London Film Festival with our writer Bradley Hadcroft describing the film as “a finely tuned gem of filmmaking“. Seeing the  daily challenges the dogs are subjected to, deserted by humanity not realising these four legged animals have been looking after us…

A unique, moving, and universal documentary, STRAY explores what it means to live as a being without status or security – through the eyes of three stray dogs wandering the streets of Istanbul. As they search for food and shelter, Zeytin, Nazar and Kartal embark on inconspicuous journeys through Turkish society that allow us an unvarnished portrait of human life — and their own canine culture.

Stray will be released in select UK and Irish Cinemas along with On Demand from 26th March.
