Watch Trailer For Hurt By Paradise, UK’s Frances Ha?

Trinity Creative Partnership have released the Official Trailer for British indie Arthouse indie Hurt By Paradise ahead of it’s home entertainment release both sides of The Atlantic.

Described as the British Francis Ha, written, directed  by Greta Bellamacina who also takes the lead. The film  is a heartfelt love letter to female friendship and London, which was been nominated for numerous awards including  the prestigious Michael Powell Award for Best British Film at the Edinburgh Film Festival and for Best UK Film at Raindance.

With its strong indie credentials, this British arthouse film shines a light on the trials and tribulations of being a young, single mother living in London, exploring the hardships, but always with a sense of humour.

Greta Bellamacina also takes the lead on camera as Celeste – a young poet and single mother, trying to make her way in London. We follow her comedically unsuccessful attempts to get her first book published and to find her estranged father. With her best friend, babysitter Stella (Sadie Brown) – a middle-aged failed actress captivated by an online love affair – by her side, will they succeed in their attempts at living life to the fullest?

Stand out performances from internet sensation Tanya Burr in her feature film debut and British acting favorite Jaime Winstone (Kidulthood, Made in Dagenham) seal the films’ empowering female edge.

With Greta’s poetry woven throughout, it is both a young, accessible indie, as well as a heartwarming ode to the joys of London life. HURT BY PARADISE carries a strong emotional arc and an impactful tragi-comic twist that make it a must see movie.

The film stars Nicholas Rowe, Anna Brewster, Sai Bennett, Jaime Winstone, and Tanya Burr.

Hurt By Paradise will be available On Digital and VOD in the UK 8th February and US 9th February.
