‘Everything Will Decay’ In January With Relic Home Release

2021 might be the fresh start we all need, in January everything will decay when Signature Entertainment release acclaimed indie horror Relic on Blu-Ray, DVD and Digital HD.

Natalie Erika James‘ deeply unsettling psychological horror, a fresh and profoundly human twist to the genre. Heart breaking allegorical effects of dementia and if you know a loved one who suffered from the dreadful disease this won’t be a easy watch.

The film stars Emily Mortimer (Mary Poppins the Return, Shutter Island), Robyn Nevin (The Matrix), and Bella Heathcote (The Neon Demon). When the mother and daughter rush to the decaying home of Mother/Grandmother disappears, she suddenly returns home. Where did she go and not all what it seems, is something controlling her?

When elderly mother Edna (Robyn Nevin, The Matrix, Top of the Lake), inexplicably vanishes, her daughter Kay (Emily Mortimer, Mary Poppins the Returns, The Party & Shutter Island) and granddaughter Sam (Bella Heathcote, The Neon Demon) rush to their family’s decaying country home, finding clues of her increasing dementia scattered around the house in her absence. After Edna returns just as mysteriously as she disappeared, Kay’s concern that her mother seems unwilling or unable to say where she’s been clashes with Sam’s unabashed enthusiasm to have her grandma back. As Edna’s behaviour turns increasingly volatile, both begin to sense that an insidious presence in the house might be taking control of her.
