As Disney Pixar’s Soul makes it’s premiere at BFI London Festival earlier this week, Disney reveal a brand New UK Trailer that shows life is full of possibilities!

The early reviews and buzz have be fantastic which excites us until Disney announced the film is coming to cinema screen near you, it’s now heading to their streaming channel, Disney+. The news will come with great disappointment but also with no surprise. The difference between this one and Mulan, what we understand this won’t require a Premium cost, just a subscription to the channel.

So what’s Soul all about? The life of Joe (voiced by Jamie Foxx) who is a middle school band teacher and has dreams of becoming a Jazz musician. His dreams are cut short when he falls down a manhole finding himself in the Great Other. He meets 22 (Tina Fey) with no interest in humanity who helps Joe to find his body and  fulfil his dreams.

The film is directed by Inside Out’s Pete Docter and this new Trailer gives us a better look at the story. Those London reviews describe the film as ‘Profound and Funny’ , we also see the overall look of the film is gorgeous!

What is it that makes you…YOU? This November, Pixar Animation Studios’ all-new feature film Soul introduces Joe Gardner (voice of Jamie Foxx) – a middle-school band teacher who gets the chance of a lifetime to play at the best jazz club in town. But one small misstep takes him from the streets of New York City to The Great Before – a fantastical place where new souls get their personalities, quirks and interests before they go to Earth. Determined to return to his life, Joe teams up with a precocious soul, 22 (voice of Tina Fey), who has never understood the appeal of the human experience. As Joe desperately tries to show 22 what’s great about living, he may just discover the answers to some of life’s most important questions. Directed by Academy Award® winner Pete Docter (Inside Out, Up), co-directed by Kemp Powers (One Night in Miami) and produced by Academy Award nominee Dana Murray (Pxar short Lou).

The talented voice cast also includes  Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, Phylicia Rashad, and Daveed Diggs.

Disappointingly Soul will now only be available on Disney+  from Christmas Day, 25th December.
