It’s Four In A Row For Scoob! On Official Film Chart

2020 maybe remembered for many things, but on the Official Film Chart, 2020 has been the year of the animated feature. Despite the reviews animation has been selling and Scoob! smashes a fourth week at Number 1 on the Official Film Chart. Fending off close competition from Onward, ironically an animation!

This week, just only 500 sales separating the Top 2 this week, Scoob! narrowly denies Onward – which climbs five places to Number 2 – a chance at the top spot; this is the fourth time Onward has reached its peak of Number 2 since its release in May.

Frozen 2 flies 27 places to Number 3, the first of several big climbers this week. Based on the autobiography of Henri Charrière, prison escape drama Papillon starring Charlie Hunnam and Academy Award winner Rami Malek, flies up 19 places to land at Number 4.

Animated record-breaker Trolls World Tour drops three to Number 5 to land just ahead of 2018’s biggest film The Greatest Showman – which sings and dances up fourteen places to Number 6. Sonic The Hedgehog rises two to Number 7.

Yesterday returns to the Top 10 after climbing eight rungs to Number 8,and Spider-Man: Far From Home lands at Number 9. Finally, Bad Boys For Life rounds off the Top 10 after tumbling six.

On this week’s online show, check out Game Of Thrones star, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau in action-thriller The Silencing, available to Download & Keep from October 19.
