Halloween is only a couple of weeks away and in indie horror Let’s Scare Julie, Halloween pranks go wrong. Signature Entertainment release the UK Trailer for the film as a group of teenage girls set out to scare their reclusive neighbour across the street. They soon discover that sometimes things are better left alone.
Jud Cremata‘s film is a one shot film as pranks go wrong that come back to kill you. Basically means no reshoots or alternates scenes, what you see is what you get. The trailer teases some tension filled moments, here’s hoping it’s continuous throughout the rest of the film!
Emma has recently moved in with her cousin Taylor after her father’s untimely death. The victim of a prank by Taylor’s friends, Emma ups the ante by planning to scare the mysteriously reclusive girl who lives across the street. All they know is Julie’s alone and the house is rumoured haunted after a little boy vanished years ago. But what starts off as a simple plan becomes a nightmare of wrong choices with horrific results in a surprising horror, cleverly filmed in one uninterrupted continuous take – once the camera started rolling it never stopped until the shocking end.
The film stars Troy Leigh-Anne Johnson, Isabel May, Odessa A’zion, Brooke Sorenson, Jessica Sarah Flaum, and Dakota Baccelli.
