Watch New Tenet IMAX Behind The Scenes Featurette

The jury is finally out on Christopher Nolan‘s Tenet. We loved the cinematic experience and Nolan doesn’t do simple films and this one isn’t straightforward. If your undecided should I go see this film, should it be in IMAX? Those lovely folks at IMAX have this behind the scenes Featurette for your viewing pleasure

Writer/Director/Producer Christopher Nolan, John David Washington (The Protagonist), and Director of Photography Hoyte Van Hoytema share their experience shooting Tenet with IMAX film cameras.

Continuing the longstanding partnership between IMAX and acclaimed filmmaker Christopher Nolan, sequences of Tenet were shot using 15 perf/70mm IMAX cameras. Tenet is the latest of Nolan’s trailblazing films also shot with IMAX cameras, including Dunkirk, Interstellar, Inception, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. Nolan designed Tenet with IMAX in mind – capturing the film with IMAX cameras, among the highest-resolution cameras in the world, and also refining the film throughout post-production in an IMAX cinema to further optimise how audiences will experience the film in IMAX.

Exclusively in IMAX cinemas, sequences shot with IMAX cameras will visually expand to fill the entire screen, allowing cinemagoers to experience more of the image with unprecedented crispness and clarity
