This Boy Has A Creepy New Friend Watch Come Play Trailer

We love our kids to experience technology and all it’s whims , we also know we must limit their screen time too. After you watch the creepy new Trailer for Come Play, you’ll not want them to go near a Tablet or Laptop ever again!

Jacob Chase‘s horror thriller monster feature  sees parents fighting to save their Autistic son, from a monster who wants to make friends with him.

This  film is adapted from the director’s own short film called Larry. This focuses on Olivier (Azhy Robertson) a young lonely Autistic boy who is desperate for a friend. He takes refuge in his mobile and tablet which a mysterious creature uses get transport into Oliver’s world. His name is Larry and he’s good at taking friends.

This film uses those ever present dangers of technologies, to give the film a terrifying edge with a few nice twists. Think Snapchat! Technology scares a lot of people of all ages and this film seems to have nailed that. There is however those dark nasty things that lurk online too.

Newcomer Azhy Robertson stars as Oliver, a lonely young autistic boy who feels different from everyone else. Desperate for a friend, he seeks solace and refuge in his ever-present cell phone and tablet. When a mysterious creature uses Oliver’s devices against him to break into our world, Oliver’s parents (Gillian Jacobs and John Gallagher Jr.) must fight to save their son from the monster beyond the screen.

The film also stars John Gallagher Jr., Gillian Jacobs, Winslow Fegley, Jayden Marine, and Rachel Wilson.

Come Play will be released Stateside 31st October. Universal Pictures hasn’t confirmed a UK or Irish release date just yet.
