The film is directed by Ric Roman Waugh reunites with his Angel Has Fallen star Butler and Morena Baccarin .The film follows one family’s dangerous journey for survival as an unstoppable comet hurtles towards a devastating collision with Earth.
He knows how to save the U.S President, even knows how to save the world with Geostorm. These films critically deliver but film fans love these films. Deep Impact looks to have a big inspiration on this one. This maybe a cheesefest full corny dialogue, but the past few months with Coronavirus we all need a couple of hours of escapism. This one looks like it will provide that escapism.
John Garrity (Gerard Butler), his estranged wife Allison (Morena Baccarin), and young son Nathan make a perilous journey to their only hope for sanctuary. Amid terrifying news accounts of cities around the world being levelled by the comet’s fragments, the Garritys experience the best and worst in humanity while they battle the increasing panic and lawlessness surrounding them. As the countdown to global apocalypse approaches zero, their incredible trek culminates in a desperate and last-minute flight to a possible safe haven.

Greenland has been given an ‘August‘ UK Cinema release, what date has not been confirmed. However dates 14th and 21st August have been mentioned, nothing is certain when Coronavirus is still dominating lives.
