Even four years after Train To Busan was released it’s still refreshing and entertaining watch. It was no surprise that a sequel Train To Busan Presents: Peninsula was made and today Studiocanal has unleashed the UK Trailer! All aboard!!!
With cinemas starting to announce opening times, what better time to release the trailer. Despite the film based around a viral outbreak it’s a film many of have been waiting for.
Train To Busan 2 we find ourselves four years after the original film. We go back to the Peninsula which was ground zero for the outbreak, when a small team go into to retrieve an abandoned truck in the middle of Seoul . Things take a turn for the worse when an mysterious militia ambush the rescue. Seeing the team fight for their survival.
The film was originally mean’t to make it’s world premiere at Cannes Film Festival. Now awaits it’s general release and we can say the action has been amped up to 200%. Looks very much inspired by the likes of Mad Max Fury Road and the George Romero ‘s Land Of The Dead and even John Hillcoat’s The Road.
Will it have the same success as Train To Busan? Hard to tell, we can’t wait for this one! FrightFest 2020 film?
When the zombie outbreak swept the entire nation, Jung-seok (Gang Dong-won) barely escaped South Korea alive.
