The Mystery Continues In New Trailer For Tenet

If there’s one filmmaker who is an advocate of the cinematic experience it’s Christopher Nolan. He immerses himself in the latest technologies spectacularly and his latest film Tenet is no Different.

During the small hours of the morning, Warner Bros have released a second UK Trailer. The mystery continues in what this film is truly about as in true Nolan tradition he reveals very little. When it’s one of his films this is probably the best way.

This trailer apparently arrived on the Fortnite game first and has revealed a few more plot details. The films is described “a movie set within the world of international espionage“. Many of us believed this is a time travel film but a film about ‘not time travel but inversion’. This doesn’t tell us what the film is really about, but we love the teasing, the mystery and the fact this looks outrageously bonkers! The rules of the universe are getting thrown out of the window…

Christopher Nolan’s “Tenet” is an action epic evolving from the world of international espionage.

Nolan wrote and directed the film, utilizing a mixture of IMAX® and 70mm film to bring the story to the screen. “Tenet” was filmed on location across seven countries.

Armed with only one word—Tenet—and fighting for the survival of the entire world, the Protagonist journeys through a twilight world of international espionage on a mission that will unfold in something beyond real time.
Not time travel. Inversion.

The film stars Elizabeth Debicki, Dimple Kapadia, Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Clémence Poésy, Martin Donavan with Michael Caine and Kenneth Branagh.

Warner Bros/Christopher Nolan are determined for Tenet to be released on 17th July. At the moment we’re still aiming for that release date, as we know nothing is certain with Covid-19 still around! The trailer does end with ‘coming to cinemas’ meaning the July release date may change.
