June Going To Be A ‘Spine Chiller’ For The Horror Channel

The end of Lockdown might be in sight, next month The Horror Channel have got your back. The channel have plenty of star-studied shocks in June with their ‘Spin Chiller‘ Season taking us into the world of supernatural mysteries.

Get your Summer off to a scary start with Saturday nights, 9pm set for blood curdling. The season will kick off with the Channel premiere of the moody and violent chiller GOTHIKA, starring Halle Berry, Robert Downey Jr. and Penelope Cruz.Stir Of Echoes pushed Kevin Bacon career into serious mode and Sarah Michelle Gellar headlines the 2004 US remake of The Grudge. We love Nicholas Cage with his ‘Cage Rage’ in the PAY THE GHOST, he tackle the supernatural world.

There is a number of TV premieres lined up including Shauna Macdonald and Ross Noble‘s NAILS. Viral sees a global pandemic as a parasitic virus is turning victims into blind, blood spewing zombie hosts. Plus, there are Channel premieres for Michael Peterson’s blood-pumping survival horror KNUCKLEBALL, Alistair Orr’s stylish supernatural suspense FROM A HOUSE ON WILLOW STREET, featuring a killer role by Australian scream queen Sharni Vinson and John McTiernan’s ROLLERBALL, a head-slamming remake of the 1975 Sci-Fi hit.

Miranda Grey (Halle Berry), a brilliant psychiatrist, is accused of a heinous murder she cannot remember. A remake of the original Japanese series , again directed by Takashi Shimizu, the action moves to Tokyo, where we are once again in a haunted house, where American nurse Karen (Sarah Michelle Gellar) is exposed to a mysterious supernatural curse, one that locks a person in a powerful rage before claiming their life and spreading to another victim. Also stars Bill Pullman.
