‘Find Your Voice’ In The High Note New Featurette

This Friday, 29th May Universal Pictures will be hoping you’ll ‘find your voice‘ in The High Note. Nisha Ganatra‘s film was originally was mean’t to have been released in cinemas earlier this month. But like many films thanks to the devastating Covid-19 pandemic it has a new home online. As we know releasing a film online isn’t always a bad thing, if anything bigger audience!

The film stars Dakota Johnson stars as Maggie the overworked personal assistant for music superstar Grace Davis (Tracee Ellis Ross). Maggie has her own aspirations and plans are put in place.

Ahead of this week’s release of The High Note, now found it’s new home, it’s time to find your voice. In a new behind the scenes Featurette which some of the cast ‘find that voice’ to chat about the film…

Set in the dazzling world of the LA music scene comes the story of Grace Davis (Tracee Ellis Ross), a superstar whose talent, and ego, have reached unbelievable heights. Maggie (Dakota Johnson) is Grace’s overworked personal assistant who’s stuck running errands, but still aspires to her childhood dream of becoming a music producer. When Grace’s manager (Ice Cube) presents her with a choice that could alter the course of her career, Maggie and Grace come up with a plan that could change their lives forever.

Remember if you love the music, the film’s original Soundtrack will be released the same day as the film. The soundtrack includes music from Rodney ‘Darkchild’ Jenkins, Donny Hathaway, and Aretha Franklin.

The film also stars Kelvin Harrison Jr., Ice Cube, Zoe Chao, Eddie Izzard, Bill Pullman, Diplo.

The High Note will be released in the UK and Ireland from 29th May on Digital HD.
