Family Is Unconditional In Apple TV+ Defending Jacob Trailer

Life goes on for Chris Evans after years as Steve Rodgers. Post Captain America has seen him in Knives Out, now in Defending Jacob. Apple TV+ have released the crime drama’s Trailer in which family is unconditional.

Evans plays assistant district attorney Andy Barber, with Michelle Dockery his wife. When a shocking crime that rocks a small Massachusetts town, and follows , who finds himself torn between his sworn duty to uphold justice and his unconditional love for his son, Jacob (Jaeden Martell).

Based on the 2012 New York Times best-selling novel of the same name. Whilst Knives Out showcased Evans comedy chops, this series is all about his dramatic chops. A big slice of Gone Girl going on here with all the evidence going against his son. No need for his shield anymore Cap, you are in safe hands and so is your shield!

Defending Jacob Limited series will premiere on Apple TV+ from 24th April with three episodes. Followed by new episodes weekly every Friday through May 29.

All eight episodes of the series are directed by Academy Award nominee Morten Tyldum (Headhunters, The Imitation Game). The series also stars Cherry Jones, Pablo Schreiber, Betty Gabriel, Sakina Jaffrey and J.K. Simmons.
