Signature Entertainment have released the UK Trailer for Australian war thriller, Danger Close: The Battle of Long Tan. Based on the intense Vietnam war true story of The Battle Of Long Tan.

Travis Fimmel leads the cast as the Major whom in 1966 lead over a 100 young inexperienced Australian and New Zealand soldiers fighting for their lives. Trailed by by 2,500 Viet Cong soldiers, the soldiers take cover in the the long in the Long Tan rubber plantation.

The film may not be blessed with international renowned cast, however Signature Entertainment have proven an eye for a good indie. This looks harrowing, intense and if you love war films, this one may go down a treat.

Outnumbered, outgunned, never out of courage – DANGER CLOSE is an exhilarating and hard-hitting war thriller based on the unbelievable true story of The Battle of Long Tan.

Major Harry Smith (Travis Fimmel) and his company of 108 young and inexperienced Australian and New Zealand soldiers are fighting for their lives in the Battle of Long tan.

With 2,500 battle-hardened Viet Cong soldiers closing in, their ammunition running out and casualties mounting, each man searches for the strength to triumph over an uncertain future with honour, decency and courage.

The film also stars Luke Bracey, Richard Roxburgh, Daniel Webber, Alexander England, Aaron Glenane, Nicholas Hamilton, Myles Pollard, Matt Doran, Stephen Peacocke, Aaron L. McGrath, Mojean Aria, Emmy Dougall, and Uli Latukefu. The film is directed by Kriv Stenders (Blacktown,Red Dog).
