Sonic The Hedgehog Featurette All About Jim Carrey’s Robotnik

Sonic The Hedgehog will finally be in UK, Irish and American cinemas this Friday(14th February). The road has been long for this film especially after the disaster that was called First Trailer. Paramount Pictures took that criticism onboard, it’s nearly time to see if it was worth the examination.

Jim Carrey stars in this film as  Sonic’s nefarious arch-nemesis, Dr Robotnik. From the trailers, clips we’ve seen for this film, this part looks old school Carrey. Paramount have released ‘Becoming RobotnikFeaturette, in which the actor discusses the role. The lowdown in playing the character and a role he was born to play…

SONIC THE HEDGEHOG is a live-action adventure comedy based on the global blockbuster video game franchise from Sega that centres on the infamously brash bright blue hedgehog. The film follows the (mis)adventures of Sonic as he navigates the complexities of life on Earth with his newfound – human – best friend Tom Wachowski (James Marsden). Sonic and Tom join forces to try and stop the villainous Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey) from capturing Sonic and using his immense powers for world domination. The film also stars Tika Sumpter and Ben Schwartz as the voice of Sonic.

The film also stars Tika Sumpter, Natasha Rothwell, Neal McDonough, and Adam Pally.

Sonic The Hedgehog Will be released in the UK and Ireland from 14th February.
