It’s ‘Dirty Dancing’ In First Trailer For WWE Animation Rumble

Wrestling is probably one of the biggest sports entertainments in the world. WWE has provided some Monster superstar names, what if the wrestlers were ‘monsters’ literally? Step forward WWE Studios and Paramount Pictures in which humans fight along side monsters!

Many big names from the world of wrestling have stepped into the acting the world with success. Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson will be the most successful name, with John Cena slowly making his way up the ladder. These guys have transitioned but we haven’t had a wrestling film raised the roof at the box office. Fighting With My Family may have critically succeeded, for Rumble it’s a chance for animation world to give it a try.

This one sees winnie, a young woman attempting to follow her father footsteps as a Wrestling trainer. Training an underdog monster into the greatest ever wrestler!

If you are a hardcore Disney animation fan, sometimes its hard to appreciate rival studio films. This has the potential to be a winner and if you love Dreamworks style style it will be a winner. It’s ticking all the boxes for a fun family flick and to parents that’s a big bonus. C’mon can’t beat these monsters getting involved in a Dirty Dancing song?!

Paramount have released the film’s first Trailer, watch it below and ‘Let’s Get Ready to…RUMBLE!!!’

In a world where monster wrestling is a global sport and monsters are superstar athletes, teenage Winnie seeks to follow in her father’s footsteps by coaching a loveable underdog monster into a champion.

The voice cast includes Will Arnett, Terry Crews, Geraldine Viswanathan, Joe “Roman Reigns” Anoa’i, Tony Danza, Becky Lynch, Susan Kelechi Watson, Stephen A. Smith, Jimmy Tatro, Ben Schwartz and Michael Buffer.

Rumble will be released in the UK and Ireland from 2021.
