The Irishman Final Trailer Delivers Another Slice Of Scorsese Magic

The final Trailer for Martin Scorsese The Irishman has arrived online. If you love those epic crime thrillers Scorsese made in 1980’s and 1990’s, this will be another slice of magic.

The film is set around the man who has worked alongside some of the most notorious figures in American History, Frank Sheeran (Robert De Niro). A hustler and hitman many believe was behind the ‘assassination’ of Jimmy Hoffa. Frank decides to spill the beans that now everyone is gone or in a nursing home.

Whilst some critics scratch their heads at his comments about superheroes, Marty does what he does best.. create awesome films. This one is no different and a chance to De Niro, Pacino, Pesci and Keitel together on the screen again is worth the 3 hour plus running time.

We have seen the film, and our writer Georgia May described the film as “Scorsese’s crime drama is a polished accomplishment, seemingly executed with ease now that he has mastered the gangster genre.“.

If you loved the ‘De-Ageing’ technology used on several Marvel films, you’ll dig it on this. As you’ll know the main cast are no spring chickens, but this technology makes this film work. The trailer shows off the power of that technology, alongside more of the story. Most of all the critics loved it, we did, so should we expect Awards glory?

Robert De Niro, Al Pacino and Joe Pesci star in Martin Scorsese’s THE IRISHMAN, an epic saga of organized crime in post-war America told through the eyes of World War II veteran Frank Sheeran, a hustler and hitman who worked alongside some of the most notorious figures of the 20th century. Spanning decades, the film chronicles one of the greatest unsolved mysteries in American history, the disappearance of legendary union boss Jimmy Hoffa, and offers a monumental journey through the hidden corridors of organized crime: its inner workings, rivalries and connections to mainstream politics.

The cast includes many Scorsese regulars and some first timers. Ray Romano, Bobby Cannavale, Anna Paquin, Stephen Graham, Stephanie Kurtzuba, Jack Huston, Kathrine Narducci, Jesse Plemons, Domenick Lombardozzi, Paul Herman, Gary Basaraba, Marin Ireland.

The Irishman is currently on a limited UK Cinema run now. However if you don’t live near a cinema showing it, Netflix will launch it globally from 27th November.
