Netflix Unveil They Will Release Safdie Brothers Uncut Gems

Last night the surprise film at the BFI London Film Festival was Safdie Brothers Uncut Gems. Including last night the film has been garnering some truly fantastic reviews, especially for it’s lead actor...Adam Sandler!

After the positive response from social media as well as reviews, Netflix have announced they will release the film in the UK. They plan to launch Josh and Benny Safdie (Good Time) latest film in January 2020. With a limited cinematic release along side the usual Streaming Launch.

Yes folks, we are looking forward to an Adam Sandler film, the comedic actor whom we are not always the biggest fans off. It’s been a long time since he’s made a film that’s remotely funny. When he takes the more serious dramatic route, he seems to deliver and gains our respects!

In Uncut Gems, Sandler plays New York jeweller Howard Ratner. Always looking out for the next big thing, a few few risky bets balance his work, family and friends in jeopardy.

From acclaimed filmmakers Josh and Benny Safdie comes an electrifying crime thriller about Howard Ratner (Adam Sandler), a charismatic New York City jeweller always on the lookout for the next big score. There is no UK Trailer just yet for the film. However, recently A24 who are releasing the film Stateside have released an American version. Here it is…

Uncut Gems will be released in select UK cinemas and on Netflix in January, 2020.
