A king has no friends“, In The King, Timothée Chalamet feels like he has no one. Netflix has released an Second New Trailer, the king needs ‘friends’. Feel his burden as he faces the chaos of politics and war of his nation thanks to his late father.

Chalamet hasn’t looked back since Call Me By Your Name. Endless number of role, not always positive ones but signs of an young actor learning his trade any way he can. This film has done the run of a few festivals including London, gathering some strong positive reviews. Could Another Oscar coming his way again?

Chalamet plays Hal who becomes King Henry V forced to embrace the life his tyrannical father had. A life the wayward prince tried to escape from, can he escape the chaos as he stares at war o his doorstep?

Hal, wayward prince and reluctant heir to the English throne, has turned his back on royal life and is living among the people. But when his tyrannical father dies, Hal is crowned King Henry V and is forced to embrace the life he had previously tried to escape. Now the young king must navigate the palace politics, chaos and war his father left behind, and the emotional strings of his past life — including his relationship with his closest friend and mentor, the ageing alcoholic knight, John Falstaff.

The film also  co-stars Sean Harris, Ben Mendelsohn, Robert Pattinson,Tom Glynn-Carney,Thomasin McKenzie and Lily-Rose Depp.

The King is currently on a limited UK Cinema run. However if you don’t have a cinema close by screening the film, it will launch globally on Netflix from 1st November.
