After making it’s European Premiere at last month’s Arrow Video FrightFest, Dark Encounter is ready to invade you’re home. Home invasion goes ‘Alien’ and Don’t Look Up, look ahead and watch the UK Trailer for Carl Strathie’s indie thriller.

The film set after the mysterious disappearance 8 year old girl parents Olivia and Ray (Laura Fraser and Mel Raido), return home for a memorial service. But soon after the service strange light appear terrifying the family, they may have uncovered who might be responsible for their daughter’s abduction.

A year after the mysterious disappearance of their 8 year-old daughter, grieving Olivia (Laura Fraser: Breaking Bad) and Ray (Mel Raido: Legend) return home with friends and family from her memorial service in their small town. Suddenly strange lights appear in the nearby forest and everyone is exposed to inexplicable phenomena shaking them all to the core. The origin of these weird incidents seems to be visitors from another world intent on terrorising the family. But what they don’t realise is that these visitors will eventually lead them to an unexpectedly dark and disturbing truth – one destined to impact on their lives forever.

This out-of-this-world and jaw-dropping alien invasion thrillers also stars Alice Lowe (Sightseers, Prevenge) , Grant Masters (Await Further Instructions) and Nicholas Pinnock (Fortitude).
