Werner Herzog In Space! Watch Disney + The Mandalorian Trailer!

The past 24 hours has been like a Disney fan’s wet dream, with all the goodies for their upcoming Streaming channel Disney+.The highlight for us was the launch of The Mandalorian First Trailer, Wow! what a trailer!

Whilst the Streaming channel will be all about the ‘Family Friendly’ Jon Favreau‘s Star Wars spin-off is going to be dark, gritty and has Werner Herzog in it!

Pedro Pascal will play “a lone Mandalorian gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy.

The scope of this show looks as big as the classic sci-fi show. Will it have Boba or Jango Fett in this? No one knows but this looks awesome. Jon Favreau stated at D-23 that they are going for a “darker, freakier side of Star Wars,”. He’s hoping the show will the gaps and answer those questions about what was happening elsewhere in the universe during the original films.

After the stories of Jango and Boba Fett, another warrior emerges in the Star Wars universe. “The Mandalorian” is set after the fall of the Empire and before the emergence of the First Order. We follow the travails of a lone gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy far from the authority of the New Republic.

The series will also star Carl Wethers, Gina Carano, Omid Abtahi, Nick Nolte, Giancarlo Esposito,Emily Swallow, and Taika Waititi.

The Mandalorian will launch on Disney+ on 12th November. Sadly at the moment we don’t have a confirmed launch date for Disney+ in the UK and Ireland, just yet.
