Watch Trailer For Joe Begos Psychedelic Vampire Flick Bliss

Another must see watch for the upcoming Arrow Video FrightFest has released a new promo. Dark Sky Films has unleashed the Trailer for Joe Begos‘ Psychedelic Bliss. A trippy vampire tale thats a celluloid himage to Gaspar Noé and old school New York Grindhouse. If you adore Abel Ferrara’s The Driller Killer and Bill Lustig’s Maniac.

Dark Sky Films describe Bliss as “A brilliant painter turns to anything she can to complete her masterpiece, spiraling into a hallucinatory hellscape of drugs, sex, and murder“.

I once struggled to reconnect with my creative design side when I was training to be a Graphic Designer. Thankfully I didn’t find myself sliding down the Alice In Wonderland rabbit hole in Manchester. Our artist in question finds herself in one trippy hell hole battling to find her juices. The film made its world premiere earlier this year with some impressive reviews. With many saying a Cult Film in the making, we hope so too!

FrightFest showcased his ALMOST HUMAN and THE MIND’S EYE and now Joe Begos, the quirkiest director on the independent horror scene, is back with a zeitgeisty, fresh and thrilling trip into terror. A brilliant painter facing the worst creative block of her life turns to anything she can to complete her masterpiece and recklessly indulges in a series of drug binges. As the narcotics fly out of control and spiral into a hallucinatory hell scape of highs, lows, sex, and murder in the sleazy underbelly of Los Angeles, so does her new found, and inexplicable, yet unquenchable craving for blood.

The film stars Dora Madison, Tru Collins, Rhys Wakefield, Jeremy Gardner.

Bliss will make it’s UK Premiere on 23rd August (book tickets here). There’s no word yet on a wider UK Release just yet.
