The Aeronauts First Trailer Soars online!

The Theory Of Everything duo Eddie Redmayne and Felicity Jones reunite for The Aeronauts. When the when science and aviation come together as the films first UK Trailer soars online.

Jones plays wealthy eccentric widow Amelia Wren, Redmayne scientist James Glaisher. The pair embark on an Ballooning journey,which will take them to the edge of existence. All in the name of human experience and a journey fighting for survival.

Tom Harper (Wild Rose) directs a film that’s been plagued with delays. Thankfully now the film is close to release and one made for IMAX. Sadly if you’re in the US, you will see the film in standard format or on Amazon Prime, despite been partially shot using IMAX cameras.

Chemistry looks strong, the scenes look fantastic, visceral most of all…exciting!

Felicity Jones and Eddie Redmayne reunite in this thrilling drama directed by Tom Harper (Wild Rose) and written by Jack Thorne (Wonder). Set in 1862 and inspired by true events, The Aeronauts follows wealthy young widow Amelia Wren (Jones) and headstrong scientist James Glaisher (Redmayne), as they mount a balloon expedition to fly higher than anyone in history. This is a journey to the very edge of existence, where the air is thin and the chances of survival are slim. As their perilous ascent reveals their true selves, this unlikely pair discover things about each other – and themselves – that helps each of them find their place in the world they have left behind.

The Aeronauts is produced by Todd Lieberman, David Hoberman and Tom Harper and also stars a wealth of British talent including Himesh Patel (Yesterday), Anne Reid (Song for Marion), Tom Courtenay(45 Years), Tim McInnerny (Peterloo) and Phoebe Fox (Eye in the Sky).

Announced today as the Mayor of London’s Gala, The Aeronauts will enjoy its European premiere at the London Film Festival On October 7th and will be released in cinemas across the UK and Ireland, and in IMAX venues, on Wednesday, November 6th.
