He may be the face of Cineworld’s ‘Tasty Debrief’ Johnny Flynn will soon be the man who sold the world. Beast Star Flynn is playing a young David Bowie in the upcoming film and we get a First Look at the film.

Like Rocketman, Stardust will focus in one part of the Rock icon’s career. Documenting David Bowie’s Pre-Ziggy Stardust era and first trip to USA in 1971. The trip that would inspire his most celebrated persona.

Jena Malone will play Bowie’s wife Angie and Marc Maron (upcoming Joker; Netflix’s Glow) as Bowie’s record company publicist, Ron Oberman.

The film was announced earlier this year, however David’s son Duncan Jones is unhappy. No one from the film has approached the Rock legend’s family or estate. So at the moment don’t expect to hear any of those legendary songs in the film.
