A look Behind The Scenes In New Gemini Man Featurette

The idea of a film starring yourself being chased yourself, an idea  a few years ago probably would have been a bit of an head scratcher a few years ago. Will Smith‘s Gemini Man it’s possible.

Years in the making, this movie wasn’t possible until now.Ahead of tomorrows second Trailer, Paramount Pictures has released a new Featurette. Meet Junior, a character created only through Ang Lee’s use of cutting edge technology.

Smith plays an elite assassin who suddenly finds himself a target. But who is the mysterious young assassin who seems to know his every move? A clone version of himself!

Will Smith is no spring chicken anymore and attempting to recreate an younger version is quite intriguing. Technology getting better every year, this promo shows how they can de-age someone. Peter Jackson‘s Weta Digital are the masters behind the technology.

Will the film be groundbreaking? Hard to say at this point, if anything we do hope it’s an entertaining film. Most of all Will Smith at the top of his game once again.

Gemini Man is an innovative action-thriller starring Will Smith as Henry Brogan, an elite assassin, who is suddenly targeted and pursued by a mysterious young operative that seemingly can predict his every move.

The film is directed by Academy Award®-winning filmmaker Ang Lee and produced by renown producers Jerry Bruckheimer, David Ellison, Dana Goldberg and Don Granger. Also starring are Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Clive Owen and Benedict Wong.

The Gemini Man now has a confirmed UK and Irish release date of 11th October.
