Watch Black Mirror Ashley O “On A Roll” Music Video

Black Mirror Season Five has now launched  on Netflix. Netflix have today have launched the music video ‘On A Roll‘ , the latest single from best-selling artist Ashley O (played by Miley Cyrus)!

The season maybe short (three episodes), the episodes still deliver that creepy vision of technology and the future. Ashley is an character from the episode Rachel, Jack and Ashley, Too. An episode that is based on a lonely teenager (Angourie Rice) yearns to connect with her favorite pop star – whose charmed existence isn’t quite as rosy it appears.

The music video is obliviously a fictional song, however Nine Inch Nails fans might recognise it. Is it a parody of Head Like a Hole (from Pretty Hate Machine album)? For fans of Cyrus, it’s done in her usual trademark style.

Reflecting on the new song, Ashley O says, “It’s really important for people to feel like they’re in control of their own destiny, and that means having the confidence to be who you want to be.” Ashley O’s manager Catherine Ortiz says the song is inspired by Ashley’s own experiences and her perseverance through her career. Ortiz states, “The lyrics to “On a Roll” are so true. Ashley has worked very hard, and now she’s going to get what she deserves.”
