Put On Your Happiest Faces Its The Banana Splits The Movie Trailer!

Whose excited to see the Banana Splits?!!!” We are ! 51 years ago the cult Kids TV Show was introduced to the world. Thirty One episodes between 1968 and 1970 and now it gets its film, but don’t expect the version you may have seen as a kid!

This is far from that Hanna-Barbera kids TV show you may have grown up with.If anything its the R-rated version of you childhood you desire! A gorefest Fleegle, Bingo, Drooper, and Snork (a.k.a. Snorky) cildhood icons become stone cold killers.

The film is about a boy named Harley and his family (brother Austin, mother Beth and father Mitch) attends a taping of The Banana Splits TV show, which is supposed to be a fun-filled birthday for young Harley and business as usual for Rebecca, the producer of the series. But things take an unexpected turn — and the body count quickly rises. Can Harley, his mom, and their new pals safely escape?

The all singing, all dancing Splits will be there, so will the pissed off versions, why? Watch the teaser below. We can definitely say not everyone from Harley’s family may survive. Yes kids this is not a parody, this is the real deal! Very bizarre. The trailer itself doesn’t show The Splits embarking on their murdering rampage. Enough to give a grown up nightmares about their one time favourite Show.

Syfy and Warner Bros. Entertainment have released a Trailer, check it out…

Finlay Wojtak-Hissong stars in the film as Harley, with Dani Kind as Beth, Romeo Carere as Austin, Steve Lund as Mitch. The film is directed by Danishka Esterhazy (Level 16).

The Banana Splits Movie is set for an home release from Warner Bros Entertainment, with an premiere on SYFY Channel later this year. No UK release dates have been announced just yet.
