Is it a New Trailer or is it a pop video? Like it or not later this year Charlie’s Angels new film will be with us. The previous films weren’t very good and leaves us wondering do we need a rebooted version of a critically panned film franchise. However before the terrible films there was a cult TV Shows and Elizabeth Banks want to bring what made the ‘Angels’ so popular in the first place.
Today our Angels played by Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, Ella Balinska all want to gave fun. Show the boys these ladies can be provide the highest end of security. They come with extravagant uniforms and wigs, gadgets, weapons to take on anything that comes there way. The Angels are now international, guided by multiple Bosley’s (now only a code name).
In recent years, with the exception of one or two, franchise films don’t have the same pulling power as before. Which may go against this, there’s nothing to lure us into this. Good to see the ladies getting a chance to prove their worth in action films. Personally I would have liked to have seen an original female driven action film than a reboot of a misdemeanour.
Sony Pictures has released the film’s first Trailer. The new promo seems to play more like a video for the the new single by Ariana Grande, Miley Cyrus and Lana Del Rey. Are you ready to join the Secret Sisterhood Of Agents?
Elizabeth Banks directs the next generation of Angels – Kristen Stewart, Naomi Scott, and Ella Balinska – working for the mysterious Charles Townsend. When a young systems engineer blows the whistle on a dangerous technology, these Angels are called into action, putting their lives on the line to protect us all.
Written and directed by Elizabeth Banks, Charlie’s Angels features an all-star cast including Elizabeth Banks, Djimon Hounsou, Noah Centineo, Sam Claflin and Patrick Stewart.
