Netflix Release Black Mirror Season 5 Trailer! Starring Miley Cyrus!

Like one of her songs, let’s hope Black Mirror Season 5 won’t be a ‘Wrecking Ball’. Today Netflix has released the first look Trailer to the cult Charlie Brooker series, starring Miley Cyrus!

The anti-technology anthology series just seems to get more popular season after season. Now  in it’s fifth season the once Channel Four UK Series now is international renowned. The cast for the new season reflects that which includes Anthony Mackie aka Falcon from Avengers and Captain America film fame.

In the upcoming season there seems to be only 3 stories, compared to five from Season 4. Will the episodes be extra long or play a unique style like Black Mirror: Bandersnatch? From what we can see from the Trailer below the stories will take us in various directions with technology involved in one stage. A little red herring that through Isolation and loneliness we seem to rely on technology even more!

We Should Have Seen Coming…

Black Mirror is an anthology series that taps into our collective unease with the modern world, with each stand-alone episode a sharp, suspenseful tale exploring themes of contemporary techno-paranoia leading to an unforgettable – and sometimes unsettling – conclusion. Without questioning it, technology has transformed all aspects of our lives; in every home; on every desk; in every palm – a plasma screen; a monitor; a Smartphone – a Black Mirror reflecting our 21st Century existence back at us. The series is created and written by Charlie Brooker, and executive produced by Brooker and Annabel Jones.

Next to Miley Cyrus, there will be Anthony Mackie, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, Topher Grace, Damson Idris, Andrew Scott, Nicole Beharie, Pom Klementieff, Angourie Rice, Madison Davenport and Ludi Lin.

Black Mirror returns with its much-anticipated fifth season on Wednesday, June 5th, exclusively on Netflix.
