Brightburn TV Sport All The ‘Bad Guy’

James Gunn may not be longer the ‘bad guy’ in some peoples eyes after his antics on social media. In the latest new TV Spot for his horror Brightburn, it’s all about the ‘badguy’ or should I say ‘Badboy’?

All seems forgiven now at Marvel Cinematic Universe for the Guardians director, 4 weeks time his sci-fi inspired horror will be out. Which has hints of a Superman style story as a childless couple (Elizabeth Banks and David Denman) find a baby. Crashed into their farm via an meteor, however good doesn’t have a superhero, it’s evil.

This new TV Spot sees our star kid asking ‘who am I?’, his mum tells him ‘You are A Gift’. Yes, a gift to evil! We also have a new clipindestructible‘ when the kid finds out he has a power that’s indestructible. Not even a a blade from an exposed lawnmower can stop him…

What if a child from another world crash-landed on Earth, but instead of becoming a hero to mankind, he proved to be something far more sinister?

With Brightburn, the visionary filmmaker of ‘Guardians of the Galaxy’ and ‘Slither’ presents a startling, subversive take on a radical new genre: superhero horror.

Produced by James Gunn and Kenneth Huang, written by Mark Gunn & Brian Gunn, and directed by David Yarovesky. Starring Elizabeth Banks, David Denman, Jackson A. Dunn, Matt Jones and Meredith Hagner, Brightburn will open at cinemas across the UK and Ireland on 19th June, 2019.
