If there’s one long running franchise that’s begging for a good sequel it has to be Terminator. Sometime in 2019 Terminator: Dark Fate will be released and it has franchise power with Linda Hamilton and Arnold Schwarzenegger.
Both back playing their iconic roles of T-800 and Sarah with original franchise director James Cameron producing. Twentieth Century Fox today revealed a set of brand new images which looks at Arnie and Hamilton both older hopefully wiser.
Tim Miller (Deadpool) is directing who has stated in a IGN interview the return of Linda Hamilton is making Dark Fate ‘Fresh’.”The fact that Linda came back makes this particular Terminator fresh, this story could only continue with her in the role of Sarah Connor. That’s the most important thing for me. Linda reinvented this character in a way that both honors who she was before and brings something new to the role.”
The Terminator films post Judgement Day fans want to forget about and it seems Dark Fate will also.
There is a synopsis released, however don’t expect to learn anything on what to expect. It’s basically a cast list alongside whose directing…
Linda Hamilton (“Sarah Connor”) and Arnold Schwarzenegger (“T-800”) return in their iconic roles in Terminator: Dark Fate, directed by Tim Miller (Deadpool) and produced by visionary filmmaker James Cameron and David Ellison. Following the events of Terminator 2: Judgment Day, Terminator: Dark Fate also stars Mackenzie Davis, Natalia Reyes, Gabriel Luna, and Diego Boneta.
Terminator: Dark Fate is set for release in late 2019 for UK and Ireland with USA expected early November.
