In this world nothing..is what it seems!“. This Summer you imagination will be let loose and in the new Second Trailer for Playmobil: The Movie, let’s get epic!!!

After the success of the Lego movies and the popularity of certain toys it’s obvious other toy related films were on the cards. Playmobil you could argue is Germany’s version of Lego, created by Hans Beck in 1974, 45 years on they are Lego’s closest competitor.

The film is the directorial feature debut for Lino DiSalvo who has worked on Frozen, Bone and Tangled. The film stars Anya Taylor-Joy as Marla whose younger brother Charlie (Gabriel Bateman) goes missing. Unaware into the world of Playmobil, she suddenly finds herself in the same world as she attempts to find him.

I did have Lego but I also had Playmobil which for some reason found more appealing. This film is certainly aimed at the younger audience, so tone of humour will be different. Netherless doesn’t mean this won’t worth a watch especially for the kids.
