Long Shot Second Trailer Charlize Theron Is Not Dating Canadian Prime Minister

Jonathan Levine’s Long Shot starring Charlize Theron and Seth Rogen just recently made it’s world premiere at SXSW Festival, with some strong early reviews, what better time to launch a second Trailer.

The actors look an odd pairing for a rom-com, however when you check out the new promo and the previous one they have a great chemistry. This is not your straight up generic rom-com, its a Rogen and Evan Goldberg scripted film, Colourful language!

In Long Shot Rogen plays an unemployed journalist who reunites with the woman who babysat him when he was a kid. That woman Charlotte (Theron) is no ordinary woman she is the secretary of state. Soon to be President, she hires him as her speechwriter. Check out the trailer…

Charlotte Field (Charlize Theron) is one of the most influential women in the world. Smart, sophisticated, and accomplished, she’s a powerhouse diplomat with a talent for…well, mostly everything. Fred Flarsky (Seth Rogen) is a gifted and free spirited journalist with a self-destructive streak. The two have nothing in common, except that she was his baby sitter and first crush. When Fred unexpectedly reunites with Charlotte, he charms her with his self-deprecating humor and his memories of her youthful idealism. As she prepares to make a run for the Presidency, Charlotte impulsively hires Fred as her speechwriter, much to the dismay of her trusted advisors.

A fish out of water on Charlotte’s elite team, Fred is unprepared for her glamourous and high stakes lifestyle. However, sparks fly as their unmistakable chemistry leads to a round-the-world romance that becomes embroiled in a series of dangerous and outlandish incidents.

The film also also features O’Shea Jackson Jr.,Alexander Skarsgård, Andy Serkis, June Diane Raphael (The Disaster Artist), Ravi Patel, Bob Ordenkirk and Alexander Skarsgård.

Long Shot will be released in the UK and Ireland from 3rd May 2019.
