Disney Rehire James Gunn For Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 3!

Yes folks this isn’t fake news, it looks like Disney have rehired James Gunn to direct Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume 3.

Nearly a year after been sacked by Disney due to historical tasteless tweets Gunn made (9/11, rape and paedophilia). The Tweets were made public by alt-right journalists and Walt Disney chairman Allan Horn was left with no choice to sack him. According to Deadline the bosses at Disney believe in redemption and second Chances and their contact have confirmed he has been reinstated.

In their report they state Horn and Gunn have been in several meetings discussing Gunn’s possible return and if what we hear is true Horn accepted Gunn’s public apology. It seems it was accepted a few month’s ago and they were waiting for the right moment to announce it.

James Gunn has written and directed Guardians Of The Galaxy Volume one and Two. Since making what was a Z-list superheroes Comic Book  to a premiere film he , a popular choice by the fans as well as the cast. So when he was dismissed the cast of the franchise wrote an open letter to Marvel/ Disney to reinstate him.

My words of nearly a decade ago were, at the time, totally failed and unfortunate efforts to be provocative. I have regretted them for many years since – not just because they were stupid, not at all funny, wildly insensitive, and certainly not provocative like I had hoped, but also because they don’t reflect the person I am today or have been for some time.”

Compared to recent scandals, James Gunn‘s actions were indefensible. Unlike those other scandals , his honesty and public apology admitting to what he did was wrong, seems to have worked on his side. Before the tweets, Gunn has been very outspoken about U.S President Donald Trump. Conservative site Daily User dig up the dirt unearthing the Tweets as a form of ‘revenge’. He hasn’t tweeted since the sacking, until today…

After his sacking DC didn’t wait long and signed him up to make a sequel to Suicide Squad. Marvel Entertainment has agreed to start production until the Suicide Squad 2 has been made for their biggest rival DC.
