Just Say The Word And Meet Shazam! In New Featurette

We all have a superhero inside us and in new Shazam! Fetaurette we meet the hero within Bill Batson.

The DC Cinematic Universe may not be as strong as the MCU but DC are starting to give it go nowadays. Aquaman may have been a mess, but a fun one. After all the glitz and gritty adaptations, David F. Sandberg‘s film will bring some comedic relief and a film more focused for families.

We have been waiting since July 2018 for a new Trailer, so a new one is long overdue. However this new promo does provide new footage most of introducing Billy (Asher Angel) and Shazam! (Zachary Levi). The cast chat about the upcoming film, but if you want to save the world, say the magic word.

We all have a superhero inside us, it just takes a bit of magic to bring it out. In Billy Batson’s (Asher Angel) case, by shouting out one word—SHAZAM!—this streetwise 14-year-old foster kid can turn into the adult Super Hero Shazam (Zachary Levi), courtesy of an ancient wizard. Still, a kid at heart—inside a ripped, godlike body—Shazam revels in this adult version of himself by doing what any teen would do with superpowers: have fun with them! Can he fly? Does he have X-ray vision? Can he shoot lightning out of his hands? Can he skip his social studies test? Shazam sets out to test the limits of his abilities with the joyful recklessness of a child. But he’ll need to master these powers quickly in order to fight the deadly forces of evil controlled by Dr. Thaddeus Sivana (Mark Strong).

The film stars Djimon Hounsou, Grace Fulton, Faithe Herman, Ian Chen, Jovan Armand, Cooper Andrews, and Marta Milans.

Shazam! will arrive in the UK and Ireland from 5th April 2019.
