Watch New Clip And Featurettes For Beautiful Boy

This coming Friday will see the UK cinematic release of Beautiful Boy starring Steve Carell and Timothée Chalamet.

We’re going to be frank, this will not be an easy watch. Not in a way that the film is bad (which it’s not), but to the journey of addiction, pain and desperation. Our leading two actors play father/Son David and Nic Sheff and this is their story. Its a heartbreaking film, even more if addiction has affected your own family. Everything plays on a knife’s edge and one small move could destroy any good that’s happened.

Similar films in the past have candy coated everything with a solution waiting at the end of a rainbow. Anyone knows live isn’t always like that and resources to help never provide the ‘cure’. Sometimes you end back at the start over and over again before you get to the end.

The film is getting a mixed response, never let that negativity put you off watching this. To help you choose Beautiful Boy as your weekend film choice, Studiocanal has released several new promos.

First up is a clip which determined father David takes Nic to a rehab halfway house that may help Nic. Like any parent they will do or pay anything to help their children.

Next two videos are Featurettes looking into the film. First looking into the ensemble cast and the fantastic range of actors that help to deliver this powerful film. The second Featurette we meet the real David and Nic Sheff who chat about their story and views on the film…
