The Lego Movie 2 Featurette Looks At The Cast Plus ‘Catchy Song’

It may have been five years since The Lego Movie and that very catchy ‘Everything Is Awesome’. Guess what, The Lego Movie 2 has a new ‘catchy song’, that will get stuck in your head!

Next month everything will be getting awesome again when The Lego Movie 2 returns for its second cinematic outing. Today Warner Bros has released 2 new promos to get us into the vibe.

The first Featurette goes behind the scenes and reveals they want to implant another song in your mind. When we see some of the cast having fun acting and singing. Now that that song will be with you forever, the second Featurette Will Arnett sums everything up. The time of the year to gather around the mic once again…

“The LEGO® Movie 2” reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all-new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city. It’s been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO® invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than they can rebuild. The battle to defeat them and restore harmony to the LEGO universe will take Emmet, Lucy, Batman and their friends to far away, unexplored worlds, including a strange galaxy where everything is a musical. It will test their courage, creativity and Master Building skills, and reveal just how special they really are.

Reprising their fan-favourite characters from “The LEGO Movie” are Chris Pratt as Emmet, Elizabeth Banks as Lucy (aka Wyldstyle), Will Arnett as LEGO BatmanTM, Nick Offerman as Metal Beard, and Alison Brie as Unikitty. They are joined by Tiffany Haddish, Stephanie Beatriz, and Arturo Castro as, respectively, new characters Queen Watevra Wa-Nabi, Sweet Mayhem and Ice Cream Cone.

The LEGO® Movie 2 will be released in the UK, Irish and U.S Cinemas from February 8th, 2019.
