Watch Emmet’s Holiday Party: A LEGO Movie Short!

It’s meant to be the most wonderful time of the year and to many it is. Hangovers all around at The Peoples Movies HQ this week but we always have time to party! Emmet’s Holiday Party!

Warner Bros has released The Lego Movie 2 short which Emmet our hero prepares for the holiday season in the Apocalypseburg. He’s ready to hold “the most tinsel-tastic holiday party Apocalypseburg has ever seen.”. Even the caped crusader is ready to party too!

Full of the tone and humour you expect from The Lego film franchise. Nothing spoils the upcoming film, just gets us more excited for it. Now wouldn’t it be great if the tease us with a few more?

There’s nothing like the holidays in Apocalypseburg with “Emmet’s Holiday Party: A LEGO Movie Short!”

“The LEGO® Movie 2” reunites the heroes of Bricksburg in an all-new action-packed adventure to save their beloved city. It’s been five years since everything was awesome and the citizens are facing a huge new threat: LEGO DUPLO® invaders from outer space, wrecking everything faster than they can rebuild. The battle to defeat them and restore harmony to the LEGO universe will take Emmet, Lucy, Batman and their friends to far away, unexplored worlds, including a strange galaxy where everything is a musical. It will test their courage, creativity and Master Building skills, and reveal just how special they really are.

Reprising their fan-favourite characters from “The LEGO Movie” are Chris Pratt as Emmet, Elizabeth Banks as Lucy (aka Wyldstyle), Will Arnett as LEGO BatmanTM, Nick Offerman as Metal Beard, and Alison Brie as Unikitty. They are joined by Tiffany Haddish, Stephanie Beatriz, and Arturo Castro as, respectively, new characters Queen Watevra Wa-Nabi, Sweet Mayhem and Ice Cream Cone.

The LEGO® Movie 2 will be released in the UK, Irish and U.S Cinemas from February 8th, 2019.
