Back in October, Netflix teased us with imagery for Gerard Way‘s(My Chemical Romance) The Umbrella Academy. Today the streaming giants tease us even more with the series First Trailer.
Comic Book fans looking for something that doesn’t follow totally follow the traditional tropes of the sub-genre, this could be the one. A ‘family’ of heroes whose mothers unconnected, adopted by a billionaire who wants to prepare them to save the world.
Ellen Page stars as one of the Academy, she’s no stranger from Superhero universes with her time in X-Men. Looks very off-kilter, very different, slightly darker possibly like Tim Burton creating a DC Vertigo Comic film. Whilst the recent and upcoming comic books look promising, the established need a challenger could this be it?
