He will be ‘bringing the darkness’ in 2019 and today Lionsgate Films UK has released the first poster for Hellboy reboot.
David Harbour of Stranger Things is now Big Red with The Descent director Neill Marshall is now directing. There’s very little we know about this new film version of Mike Mignola’s cult comic. What we do know is this will be completely different from Guillermo Del Toro‘s Hellboy. It will be more ‘R-Rated’, bloody, Lovecraftian.
Most of all, if the rumours are true, this week we will have the first teaser trailer for the film.
David Harbour himself teased fans with a Motion Poster for the film, check it out…

Awwwww, crap… Look who’s coming in April. No, not the 50% still left of the Avengers – hell, that’s practically May… April 12th showers bring one Big Red Flower, beast of the apocalypse, The right hand of doom, the buttkicker of the BPRD, and a host of all kinds of big ole giants and witches and fairies and janky overgrown ugly pig monsters from your nightmares. Trailer drops Thursday #aboutdamntime #hellboy 😈
Marvel’s Avengers who just happen to have a ‘small film’ about an ‘Endgame’ the same month like this one. Big Red may not have the pulling power of Marvel’s superteam, thankfully here in the UK, they will have a few weeks breathing space before MCU’s finest arrive in our cinemas.
The cast will include Ian McShane as Professor Bruttenholm, Daniel Dae Kim as Ben Daimio, Sasha Lane as Alice Monaghan, and Milla Jovovich as the Blood Queen. Along with Penelope Mitchell as Ganeida; with Sophie Okonedo (After Earth), Brian Gleeson (mother!) and Alistair Petrie (The Night Manager, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story).
Hellboy will be in the UK and Irish cinemas from 12th April 2019.Powered by Sidelines
