You better not cry, Better not pout, I’m telling you why Santa Claus is coming to town! In The Christmas Chronicles, this is no ordinary Santa Claus…It’s Kurt Russell!

Last month Netflix released the first trailer for this upcoming Netflix Originals film. Today we get another glimpse at Snake Plissken as Father Christmas himself. In this story of two kids intending to capture Santa, which sees Santa crash his magical sleigh. But as they see the errors of their ways they try to help him deliver those presents.

Let’s be honest, if this was in a cinema, it would leave without any notice. Netflix is a perfect place for the film and parents can assure they don’t need to leave home. Just switch on the TV or laptop and let the kids enjoy!

THE CHRISTMAS CHRONICLES, a Christmas adventure from producer Chris Columbus (“Home Alone”, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone”) and director Clay Kaytis (“The Angry Birds Movie”), tells the story of sister and brother, Kate (Darby Camp) and Teddy Pierce (Judah Lewis), whose Christmas Eve plan to catch Santa Claus (Kurt Russell) on camera turns into an unexpected journey that most kids could only dream about. After staking out Santa’s arrival, they sneak into his sleigh, cause it to crash and nearly derail Christmas. As their wild night unfolds, Kate and Teddy work together with Santa – as you’ve never seen him before – and his loyal Elves to save Christmas before it’s too late.

The film also stars Darby Camp and Judah Lewis with Angry Birds The Movie Clay Kaytis directing.

The Christmas Chronicles will launch globally on Netflix November 22.
