In Second Boy Erased UK Trailer Russell Crowe Is Disappointed

Most kids just want to make their parents proud and they just want the best for them too. In Joel Edgerton‘s Boy,Erased Russell Crowe is disappointed in his son, Lucas Hedges.

After the launch of the first UK Trailer only a few weeks ago and with the film several months until release, we weren’t expecting a new promo so soon. This Friday is the American release Universal Pictures have released a new second Trailer.

In that trailer, Crowe plays a small town pastor (Nicole Kidman his wife) and we see his disappointment in his son Jared who tells him, he’s gay. Jared is threatened to be exiled if he doesn’t attend the Gay conversion therapy to cure him of his ‘disease’. We get a closer look at some of those atrocities the victims are subjected too.

Despite a few mixed bag reviews, there is still a lot of hope for Boy Erased critically. It looks a film with its heart in the right place with a superb display from the central cast, this might just challenge for one of those golden statues next March.
