Felicity Jones Is Warrior Of Equality In On The Basis Of Sex UK Trailer

Here at The Peoples Movies, we are supporters of equality and we do pride we have a diversity of great writers from all walks of life. On The Basis Of Sex, we will see Felicity Jones become a warrior of equality and women’s rights especially.

The powerful true story of one of the greatest women of our times. Starring Jones as real-life superhero Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Armie Hammer as her husband Marty.

Check out the new International (UK) Trailer sent to us from Entertainment One. The promo does great to tease the message of the women’s rights. It’s ridiculous to think, the issues of this film still resonate today when we all should be on a level par. I expect this one to be on the running for potential Oscar and awards nominations…

Set to be one of the year’s most inspiring and entertaining films, this is the powerful and timely true story of US Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg who led the fight against gender discrimination and blazed an unprecedented trial for equality. From being one of only a few women accepted at Harvard Law to co-founding the Women’s Rights Project at the ACLU, Bader Ginsburg overcame all odds to become one of the most influential figures in the battle for equal rights, passionately arguing ground-breaking landmark cases and giving a voice to those unable to be heard. Lighting up the screen with fantastic performances, Felicity Jones stars as Ruth Bader Ginsburg and Armie Hammer as her husband Marty, a talented lawyer in his own right who offers unwavering support to his wife. Directed by Mimi Leder and written by Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s nephew, Daniel Stiepleman, On the Basis of Sex also stars Justin Theroux, Kathy Bates, and Cailee Spaeny.

Directed by Mimi Leder (Thick As Thieves), the film also stars Justin Theroux, Sam Waterston, Jack Reynor, and Kathy Bates.

On The Basis Of Sex doesn’t have a confirmed UK & Irish release date, its still saying ‘Coming Soon’. However, a date of 4th January 2019 has been mentioned but not confirmed. Over the pond in the USA, it will be 25th December aka Christmas Day.
