Cinematically the D.C Universe has been a total disaster, however, things are a lot more promising on the small screen. Titans or Teen Titans (their full comic book title), and is been plugged as a darker, grittier version. This is also the live action version of Teen Titans Go! animation series from Cartoon Network, but expect f-bombs and a whole lot of Batman references, not always in support of the caped crusader!
The announcement of this show is to be on Netflix has stirred up a bit of a kafuffle in the States. The series was been benchmarked as one of the premier series on the DC Universe Streaming Channel. As that service is only available in USA (soon Canada), Netflix picked up the rights for the rest of the world (exception of China). Here’s hoping this series is worth it!

Titans is a dramatic, live-action adventure series that will explore and celebrate one of the most popular comic book teams ever.
The series stars Brenton Thwaites (Dick Grayson), Anna Diop (Starfire), Teagan Croft (Raven), Ryan Potter (Beast Boy), Minka Kelly(Dove), Lindsey Gort (Amy Rohrbach) and Alan Ritchson (Hawk).
Head Over to www.netflix.com/titans to watch DC’s Titans, when Netflix will premiere the series globally (outside of the U.S. and China) including the UK and Ireland. The exact date has not been revealed, it’s still ‘coming soon’ but in the U.S its 12th October.
