New Mary Poppins Returns New Trailer Best Look At Emily Blunt

Just when you were forgetting about the release along comes a new trailer. Disney Studios has released a Brand New second Trailer for Mary Poppins Returns. A Trailer that gives us the best look at Emily Blunt as the iconic magical nanny, a trailer that will hit the right spots. Nearly 55 years in the making, you wonder why Disney has taken so long to create a sequel. When you watch this video you won’t care, as it’s all singing, all dancing. Don’t expect the hybrid of animation and live action, then again don’t rule anything out! We do get an insight into the film’s plot and some of those musical numbers.

The long awaited sequel takes place nearly 20 years after the original film and Mary Poppins returns to the Banks household. Michael and Jane are grown up (Ben Whishaw and Emily Mortimer) with kids their own, Tragedy strikes which sees Mary returning to Cherry Tree Lane once again!

“Mary Poppins Returns” stars: Emily Blunt as the practically-perfect nanny with unique magical skills who can turn any task into an unforgettable, fantastic adventure; Lin-Manuel Miranda as her friend Jack, an optimistic street lamplighter who helps bring light—and life—to the streets of London; Ben Whishaw as Michael Banks; Emily Mortimer as Jane Banks; and Julie Walters as the Banks’ housekeeper Ellen; with Colin Firth as Fidelity Fiduciary Bank’s William Weatherall Wilkins; and Meryl Streep as Mary’s eccentric cousin, Topsy. The film also introduces three new Banks’ children played by Pixie Davies, Nathanael Saleh and newcomer Joel Dawson. Angela Lansbury appears as the Balloon Lady, a treasured character from the PL Travers books and Dick Van Dyke is Mr. Dawes Jr., the retired chairman of the bank now run by Firth’s character.

Mary Poppins Returns will arrive in UK and Irish Cinemas from 21st December 2018. The film also stars Meryl Streep, Colin Firth, Angela Lansbury, Julie Walters, David Warner, and Dick Van Dyke, yes the one and only!
